This is the history of our band:
In year 10, a friend and I decided that it would be great fun if we started
a band. The trouble was that there was only two of us, so we started to look around for other players. We found two
other budding players and in fact we were all in the same year and all 4 of us were doing GCSE music which meant
that there was loads of time to practice. When we put this idea forward to our director of music he was really pleased
and said that we could go ahead. I think that even if he had said no we still would have rehearsed!! Since then
we have practiced every week on Wednesday lunchtimes at school and have improved dramatically. The rehearsals are always
fun and there is always a joke or two from our 'comidian', Paul, who no matter what the weather has a cheerful smile on his
face!! We all look forward to the rehearsals each week and love every minute of them. We all love the band, not
just because its great fun but we will always be friends, even when we choose subjects and go our different ways in later
life.
